Extended Wi-Fi Coverage

Two External Antennas with MIMO

Two external antennas combined with MIMO technology help provide stable wireless connectivity and improved Wi-Fi coverage. The antennas can be adjusted to help distribute the wireless signal effectively.

Easy Setup

Expanding your Wi-Fi network is simple. Press the WPS button on your router followed by the Range Extender button on the TL-WA855RE to quickly connect the extender to your existing wireless network.

The intelligent LED indicator helps you find a suitable location for the extender by indicating whether it is positioned too far away from the main router.

Range Extender and Access Point Modes

The TL-WA855RE supports two operating modes:

Range Extender Mode – expands your existing Wi-Fi network and helps eliminate weak-signal areas.

Access Point (AP) Mode – uses the Ethernet connection to turn a wired network into a wireless Wi-Fi access point.

Ethernet Connectivity

The integrated 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port provides additional network connectivity. In Access Point mode, the port can be used to create a wireless network from an existing wired connection.

Convenient Network Management

The management interface allows you to control wireless coverage, manage network access and configure a power schedule. The status of the TL-WA855RE can also be conveniently monitored using the TP-Link Tether app.
